marleau_12
Just take ice out of the game already, so dangerous.
Thirteen
Those who are for visors might have a case here. Looks like a visor could of broke the fall although he would still of got knocked onto the ice, the impact though would of been less severe. Best wishes to him, great fighter and teammate. Nas19
For those downplaying the significance of the injury because it's "just a concussion", I'm really surprised that this ignorance still exists in a day and age where we're increasingly aware of just how devastating concussions can be. Sorry, but it's no small thing. Parros may well be fine, but it's really ignorant to assume that's the case and treat head trauma like some kind of minor scrape or bruise. The Bookie
Feel bad for the guy but at worst it's a concussion . He has a hard head and will be back in 5 games. Edit.... he's a 'goon' so no need to rush him back for his 7 min ave ice time.

The Bookie
Montreal Canadiens enforcer George Parros was released from hospital Wednesday morning after being treated for a head injury suffered in a season-opening loss to Toronto the previous night. Parros was knocked unconscious early in the third period after his face slammed into the ice during a fight with Maple Leafs tough guy Colton Orr. Parros spent several minutes motionless on the ice before he was taken off on a stretcher. "Medical update on George Parros: he was released from the hospital, suffered a concussion, will be out indefinitely," the Canadiens said Wednesday on their Twitter feed. Parros fell hard on his chin while attempting to punch Orr, who was tugging at his jersey. It was their second fight of a physical game, which the Maple Leafs won 4-3. It was the first game in a Montreal uniform for Parros, who joined the Canadiens last summer after one season with the Florida Panthers.
