You said he couldn't hit the net and he made your comment look silly by forcing to goalie to make amazing saves. Then he racks up more points after. I said you were premature in your criticism because he was blasting the net as soon as you hit send. Yes. But I was right to criticize because he missed the net 3 times on one timers before that. Subban had 38 points in his second full season but was a minus 8. Now he is among leading defencemen in points and has a plus 10. My point is you can't learn offense but you can learn defense. Jones is facing the 2nd strongest competition on Nashville's blueline, behind Weber, is getting primarily defensive zone starts (45.3% ozone starts - 47.8% finishes) - his relative corsi is only -2.1 in that context - very strong underlying numbers for a 19 year old. -10 doesn't really tell the story imo - nothing to really be concerned about there.
