Previous history says that they will get better or at least close to what they are used to producing. That will raise our differential of goals for/goals against more than what it currently is. This means a higher playoff position and being competitive against better teams. Luck often translates into the difference between teams that are roughly balanced. So I am saying that once our scorers are playing their "absolute best" we will either be competitive with good teams and win more games. no, i don't think they're playing their best. i still don't believe their best is good enough. the canucks have, at most, 3 legitimate top 6 forwards. that's not competitive. They did everything & also scored some very timely goals. When Burr was out of the Team-Canada line-up following concussion protocols....Team-Canda lost something & weren't as sharp. Getting Ladd would be a coup for the 'Nucks - but I wouldn't relinquish Horvat. Ladd & Campbell are the only ex-Hawks I still like as players. I can even forgive Byfuglien...since he's become a Jet.
