theminister
Would anyone be surprised if EE went on one of his tears? Not necessarily the 16 HR 33 RBI May he had back in 2012 but enough to raise his BA to the .265 range. He's certainly capable of a 8-10 HR month with 25 RBIs. That would go a long way if everyone else can just maintain their pace. This line-up, if healthy, is certainly in the 92-93 quality range. When I wrote this on Aug 3rd EE's slash line was .245/.343/.454. Coming into today it was .257/.351/.493. BM24
And that is why Tulo's offensive slump isn't that big of a deal. Defensive plays like that by him.
TheRussianRocket.
Wow Tulo. Defensive God. So refreshing to see him there and not Reyes anymore. Can't imagine where we would be with José :|
CANUCK-EXPRESS
What a play by Tulo. Yall can say he needs to start hitting but I'd rather have his defense more than anything. Great pick by Smoak as well.
TheRussianRocket.
...imagine this Jays roster starting from scratch to begin a new season. With a healthy Stroman. Probably be the best team in the league hands down. This is pretty much from the TD onwards and they've been nearly unbeatable. A fresh start with 0-0 record, yikes! TheRussianRocket.
Losing Buehrle will be tough. I hope it's RA and we somehow keep Buehrle. Mark is just so solid. Always a given you'll get 12 wins from him in a season. Just a great guy all around.

theminister
Burhrle might retire??? That's the word. I hope he chooses to come back for another year. / Jays just tied the Angels record for most runs allowed in a 3 game series. theminister
....aaaaaaannnddd....the Jays break the record. The Angels have never given up as many runs as they have the 36 against the Jays, in a 3 game series, in their entire history.
