It's the owner's fault that Tortorella, a coach who's strategy is completely terrible for this team, is signed and it was probably the owner's idea to sign him to a five year deal. Darius Posted April 8, 2014 Share Posted April 8, 2014 now that they are officially out, they need to start markstrom and roll 4 lines evenly. the whole goal of the organization should be to get the best player possible in the draft. i know the draft is a crapshoot, but once you get into the top 5 or 6 your chances of getting a legitimate high end player must be better than if you are picking in the 12-16 range.... Honky Cat Posted April 8, 2014 Share Posted April 8, 2014 you're right, AV had the same core players who were playing much better than they are now (Sedins, Kesler, Burrows, Bieksa, Edler and Luongo were all here when he became coach) plus better players around them. We would have missed the playoffs this year with AV as well Disagree ..big time...we would have made the playoffs this year with AV ...Most of our top line would not have been in the infirmary blocking shots...We would have made the first first round with AV,but realistically,we would have also been first round fodder...
