Gally
longterm, maybe. depends how well their ratings do. A lot of people watch hockey. And if they're the channel playing the hockey they will generate a lot of money.
tas
but if their broadcast production values are as low as they have been historically, as i suspect they will be based on the collection of 'c' grade talent they've accumulated to run the show, they may not generate the ad revenue they predicted they would when formulating their bid. Green Building
I'd rather watch TSN with the inherent eastern bias than pay attention to the analysts who only bitch and whine. Sportsnet is loaded with crybabies and I don't see anyone who will be able to keep their poison opinions in check while on the air. I am still holding out some form of hope for Elliotte Friedman shifting over from CBC to keep some of these clowns in check. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4hahMMTFH8

Papayas
1 more reason why TSN should have gotten the contract. Wait till Canadians (of all people) are turned off of watching NHL hockey. That will be Bettman's biggest nightmare When that happen Bettman will bring the cup bak to canada to spark the market again.... Not that canada will ever stop watching hockey tho.... Common sense
the only analyst people on this board would be happy with would be someone completely new who hasnt had the chance to say anything bad about the canucks yet.... there is nothing wrong with cox. TSN analysts outdo the children over at Sportsnet by a mile.
