Tokarski with the start tonight. This is a bold move, i hope it works.

I like the choice of Dustin Tokarski. If Tokarski gets lit up tonight, Canadiens come back with an experienced goaltender in Game 3 at MSG. If it were Budaj bombed tonight, they're throwing the kid into a lions' den.

Here are some stats:

-The Rangers have lost 13 straight games when they've had a series lead.

-Last time the Canadiens lost the first two of a series at home was 1992, Adams Division final against Boston. Bruins won four straight.

-Seven goals was the most the Rangers have ever scored against the Canadiens in the playoffs.

-Over their last four playoff games, the Rangers have outscored opponents 17-5 and of course, won all four.

-Since the beginning of the second round, the teams scoring first are 28-1.

-Peter Budaj is 0-6 in playoff games. His save percentage is .843. In three appearances with the Canadiens, his percentage is .743.

-In the 2012 Calder Cup run with Norfolk, Dustin Tokarski had three shutouts, a GAA of 1.46 and a save percentage of .944. Mind you, it was the AHL.

-At 5'11", Tokarski is the first goaltender under 6' to start in this year's playoffs.
