Buffalo have a lot of young center depth and grig has not developed like they would have liked them too. Grigs brings us size and skill and a change could help him reach his top 6 potential. timberz21 Posted July 14, 2014 Share Posted July 14, 2014 Even though Grigorenko fell in the draft and the whole relagation to AHL/CHL saga that might have cause friction between the Organization and the Player, i'm pretty sure Buffalo could have a better return for Grigo. Like a similar Kassian for Hodgson trade, two 1st rounder from the same years that aren't really progressing in both organizations. Markstrom doesn't have a lot of value. DownUndaCanuck Posted July 15, 2014 Share Posted July 15, 2014 They could use some defencemen who can play right now, and the Canucks have a few too many kids on the blueline: Markstrom, Stanton and a 2nd should do it. Edler - Tanev Hamhuis - Bieksa Sbisa - Weber Corrado Still a very solid defence right there.
