nuck luck
Since Horvat is injured....can we send him down to the Comets for a conditioning stint? Does anyone know the legalities involved? elvis15
Maybe, just maybe, someone's already discussed this recently in the Horvat Talk thread. If only we could look and find out for sure some way... nuck nit
The only way they could play together is if the Canucks go into the vast hole of loser land. Really no.
Brendan Gaunce
fml gonna kill myself becuz he posted something redundant omfg ty sir elvis for saving us ps - no he can't play for the comets yet he's too young, either in the bigs or back to junior
Maniwaki Canuck
There's about a 1-2% chance they're all in the lineup at the same time, and even smaller odds that they're on the same line, if that's what you mean. Basically, Horvat has to make the team past a 9-game trial and then we have to have significant injuries at forward, at least 3 and maybe 4. It's not out of the question, but highly unlikely. Dogbyte
I don't think he's hurt that bad so the conditioning stint would help him in anyway ... so no. The only way they will play together is if Shink gets a call up some time this year, and Jensen would have to be up already. As mentioned 1-2% chance. Maybe, just maybe, Bo Horvat is considered a Canuck at this moment.... and there's a VERY good possibility he won't be sent down this season. So all discussions regarding Bo Horvat should be in the Canucks thread...

And yes...I don't know how we would survive without elvis

From what I've read, because he is considered a Canuck at this time and he is injured....there is a possibility he could be sent down to Utica for a conditioning stint. His age or previous factors for not being able to play in Utica are irrelevant now because he is a Canuck, for the time being... So, I was hoping someone knew the regulations on this. If he is able....I would think that they would have Shink, Bo, Jensen as their first line
nuck luck
I belive I heard Mackenzie on TSN say that he needs to be out at least a week to get a conditioning stint in the A Ah.... I see, thanks for that! Do you know how long it's been so far? We must be close to that I would think?

The only way they will play together is if Shink gets a call up some time this year, and Jensen would have to be up already. As mentioned 1-2% chance. So the extent of the injury is a factor? The conditioning stint might not help him....but it's a bit of a loophole to get Bo to play in Utica for awhile before he starts playing for the Canucks. Not a bad way to get acclimated to playing with professionals It's a much better option to do this instead of having him play for the Nucks right away..... nuck luck
Prob requires approval from Darth Bettman. I would think so too....but I'm wondering what factors are considered for approval. Obviously, being a Canuck is a mark against this happening, but other than that? I mean, how beneficial would it be for Bo to play in Utica for a couple weeks or so? It will make the transition to playing in the Pros a lot easier for him and give him a better chance to stay in the lineup.... and I'd really like to see the 3 given an opportunity for a few games, see if there is some legit chemistry amongst them. higgyfan
Not likely to see the 3 on the same line for games that count. Not for the next couple of years, anyways.
nuck luck
Looks like we might see Horvat, Shink and Jensen together this year And with some better news for Canucks fans, - Comets win their home opener with a 3-0 win! - Markstrom with consecutive shutouts - Shink and Jensen with goals - Gaunce looked really strong - Bo had a solid game with some good chances - Bo had some real chemistry with Shink - Bo also had some solid chemistry with Gaunce - Gilman and Henning at the Aud....possible call up or just looking at Bo's development?
