DoughtysCheck Posted December 17, 2016 Share Posted December 17, 2016 The good this year -William Karlsson looks to be a legitimate 2C and should hold down that spot this year -Although not producing offensively this year, Foligno and Dubinsky continue to be strong TWF. With Strome and Karlsson becoming offensive catalysts for my team, they will be important to play in a more defensive role next season -Nick Bonino looks to be the perfect 3C for my team. The ugly this year -when brought in this year, Haydn Fleury was expected to step into a top 4 role. He is clearly not ready for that role yet and will play a more sheltered role next season -After signing a long term contract, Ryan Murray shat the bed putting up dismal offensive and defensive numbers this year. Hoping it is just an off year and will regain his form next year. -Paul Martin needs to go. Clearly too old to play the game anymore. -Bottom 6 players not defensively responsible. They're so high in the standings and have such a high goal differential, yet it's so obvious that they aren't a contender. It's just like season 1. They finished first in points, GF, and GA, but I was still scared of losing in round 1 and sure enough, it happened. I could honestly see this team losing a 7-game series to half of the non-playoff teams.
