and cut all the other young players on our 50 contract roster limit

to accommodate all these waiver wire claims

if we do it enough we'll have 50 waiver wire rejects as our complete 50 man contract roster

might have trouble reaching the cap floor unless we claim some really bad contract waiver players

I'm not sure he's as gifted offensively as Chara was (in his prime.)  But as you say, this may develop.   Not as mean, either, which is not so bad.  (Remember the nasty hit on Pacioretty?)
