Devils place Robbi (forever injured) Fabbri and Trevor Lewis on the IR

Call up Remi Elie and Tomas Nosek to take their place

New Jersey is still looking to sell in an effort to build for the future! No one is untouchable besides Timo Meier (unless you make a collossal offer!). Biggest area we would like to upgrade will be goaltending and defense, but open to anything and bringing in picks/prospects.

L.A. Kings - State of the Kingdom Address

Well, despite trading away a lot of points in Rittich, Boyle, and Killorn (the latter of which has absolutely EXPLODED since he left :picard:), the Kings continue to spite their self-proclaimed "rebuilding" GM with excellent production.

The top players (Seguin, Doughty, Dubnyk, Radulov, and Backlund) are all performing well with over 100 points each. Right behind them in the 90s are secondary guys who have really stepped up: Lindell, Hyman, and Miller. Miller had terrible October, but since Schmidt came back he's been on a tear.

Then there has been some pleasant surprises among the young guys. Debrincat has taken a huge step forward, and currently sits with 119 Fpts. Travis Dermott continues to look good, even if the points aren't quite there yet. Mathieu Joseph sticking with the RL Lightning has been a nice development (and that partially replaces Killorn for Tampa rep). But the biggest surprise has been Pontus Aberg, who since being claimed on waivers from the Oilers IRL (Chia being Chia), has 14 points and 10 PIMs in 23 games.

With the current success of the team, and the strength of our younger players, Kings' management has decided to pull their (read: his) head out of their (/his) posterior region, and will look at strengthening this team for another playoff run this season.

Looking at trade options for the following notable players:

Wayne Simmonds

Justin Schultz

Jesper Fast

Richard Panik

Drake Caggiula

Marco Scandella

With most of our core not being on playoff teams, we will be looking toward the future, and will mostly be targeting futures in return for these players.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

As with real life, the league will be expanding in the 2021-22 season with the addition of an expansion team in Seattle.

The league will conduct a GM search starting in April 2020, with a GM expected to be named prior to the beginning of the 2020-21 season.

As for division realignment, Arizona will move to the Central Division, while Detroit will also move to the Atlantic Division and the Eastern Conference. This will now let our league have the exact same divisions as real life.

Goalies are a fickle bunch, but Adin Hill and Mikko Koskinen sure are looking swell.

In prospect news, congrats to Shane Bowers, Josh Brook, Matthew Villalta, and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen on receiving World Junior invites. There may be more, but those are the ones that caught my eye yesterday. We’ll see if some others have been called (ie: Kovalenko, O’Brien).

Congrats to Jay O’Brien and Mikey Anderson for invites to Team USA.
