He is fine with it.  He all but admits it without outright admitting it.  You and I both know what his response will be.

It's like clockwork

oil companies can do no wrong apparently. Oooh but those Quebec companies :picard:

With the Peter MacKay coronation coming I wonder how many people will actually go wexit? I don't see how PMac taking (or at least acting like) a more progressive message out there appeals to the wexiteers.

Wow you two assume so much. You know what happens when you assume...

Mind you that has been hip since he joined cdc.

It's truly amazing how you vehemently keep saying this while simultaneously doing the same thing.

Quote something where I said that and then look at what Jimmy said and tell me I'm wrong. Again clearly I've noticed over our communication with each other you don't have the best capacity to understand what you read so just quote the post and go from there

don't worry, you're not alone. the classic 'i like apples' 'well then why do you hate oranges' argument is a mainstay here. Just funny how you are one of many who do this but get so pissy when others do it.

just relax a little and go wank to your wexit passport.

Lol no you claimed fuel prices were far higher based on your source you quoted from the US. Face it, you looked ridiculous that day. You also said you would take a picture of the receipt and post it..

Btw FTG isn't wrong. You didn't even quote a source.

Yep, not only did he not show his source.  He used the one media outlet that purposely added a very anti conservative spin on it.  Gee I wonder why???.  It was reported on so many other outlets including his favorite CBC.  The reason he didn’t quote those sources is because they were much more reasonable on the situation as it’s quite complex and not a simple “UPC bad” that Hippy attempts to make every .

Its funny because you see people here claiming that we need to look out for these local municipalities as they are not getting what they deserve.  And yes that is a fair argument, these municipalities count on this tax income.  (I purposely bolded that).  But what we are seeing is a down turn where many of these small natural gas producers are currently on the verge of bankruptcy, if you go after them you aren’t going to get much in terms of assets.  You wouldn’t even get a years’ worth of taxes back and on top of that the companies will be forced to shut shop.  Great that how business works “as hippy states”.  But what happens next year when there is no replacement and ZERO taxes coming in. Again these municipalities count on this tax income.  Bankrupting these companies assures you will never had that tax income coming in again. Smart plan right?

So yes in the short term, municipalities rightfully deserve their taxes, but at what extent are the also willing to sewer any long term impact on bringing in those taxes.  That’s why the UPC is tying to find a solution, work with the oil companies so that they can get back on there feet while at the same time reimbursing municipalities as much as possible.  It’s not perfect, but is it not better to have a job you hate putting food on your table, than to quit and starve.

In other news I was quite happy to see a lot of the conservative candidates rip apart Décarie stance on being gay. Cons need to back away from the social con vote regardless of your personal standpoint.

You're pathetic little guy. You made the accusation so back it up. It's not hard unless you're full of BS which you are.

Go wank it to socialism some more.

Constantly insulting and demeaning me and others does nothing but show your deep insecurities and unhappiness. hope you don't do anything you'd actually regret.

Let's air it.

Strome.  Do you think it's fair that the government you voted for is cutting services while spending more than the former NDP.  While giving huge breaks to companies that are still leaving, then telling municipalities and private land owners owed hundreds of millions that are begging for help to effectively suffer

Yes

Your question isn't accurate, so how can I answer your question? Ask it accurately without the partisan spin and you will get an honest answer.

Or I can answer that question but it will be full with correcting u.

I don't want your deflection

Keep your stories and personal stabs out of this.  There's ZERO partisan spin there.  It's a yes or no to this statement of fact, from events and statements made from the government that are matters of fact.  There's nothing to correct, at all.

well lets take a moment to hit the reset button then, and try to put things in perspective so we understand each other better.

Fact: Alberta happens to have one of the wealthiest, healthiest populations on the planet. You are literally in the 1% and doing very well compared to nearly everywhere else on all things, and maybe even #1 in a few things.

Fact: Alberta oil companies, by their own admission, have done a poor job in getting more pipeline projects in Canada.

Fact: Alberta is landlocked, and relies almost 100% on export of agricultural and energy products, but has done extremely well in getting that stuff to market while within Canada.

But despite all that, you're angry. So angry stockpiling weapons to protect yourself from an Ottawa-led invasion sounds like a good idea. Literally fuming mad over an environmental assessment bill that hasn't even been tested yet, but its already wrecked your kids future.

How much of this ^ do you disagree with?

Lol you know nothing. I gave you a chance. When you say spending more but also say tax breaks  don't you think you're misleading? Or do you yourself not understand? As for the 2.75% cuts gee I wonder why we were on an unsustainable path. The info was given by the blue ribbon panel.

As for the rural municipalities, FTG has covered this for you. It's that or bankruptcy.  NO I don't want to see them go bankrupt I would rather a negotiated path forward which is what the plan is.

No partisan spin lmao he didn't tell them to suffer and the companies leaving would be on your part considering you yourself said it takes time for governments transitioning. More hippy hypocrisy.

1)extremely well? Lol thankfully we have a massive first world country bordering us. Every other major energy exporter in the world has had far better access to markets.

2) c48 and c69 are terrible, so bad senators from all over Canada said how bad they were.

3) wow can you not understand sarcasm.

yeah, I'd call being on the top of the planet extremely well. C48 makes sense. C69 was heavily amended and passed by those same senators, they actually did a very good job on it but you like to gloss over that part.

I think we need to find a way to give Alberta a time out, the temper tantrum is getting out of hand if you really can't see how fortunate Alberta is.

A bunch of non answers to some simple questions.

This is what happens when people are afraid of the truth
