IE., that 1st round pick? A guy who turned out to be a bust. Still doesn’t change the fact it was an AWFUL trade by Gillis. Vey was a gamble. You don’t always win out on those gambles. It was a understandable risk taken given our lack of skilled winger prospects that Benning inherited.
