The_Rocket
One for one. Players are similar in terms of skill. Guentzel more of a sniper miller more of a playmaker. If pens think they can sign miller on a home town discount, would they make the swap? Guentzel is same age as Horvat so fits Vancouvers time line a bit better. also worth noting that Pittsburgh currently only has enough cap space to carry a 22 man roster. After this trade they would be able to add a 23rd player due to cap savings. from Vancouvers side, they would only be able to run a 22 man roster after this trade, unless Poolman goes LTIR as well
Oregon.Duck
I do not see Pittsburgh separating from JG. He's the only relatively young star forward they have.
KirkSave
Guentzel is one of the best value contracts in the league. He is a consistent top 6 winger who fills the net and comes up big in the playoffs (a la Brayden Point). Doubt Pitt would even consider it. Rabbit
I also doubt Pitt would do this trade.
HighOnHockey
On top of what everyone else has said, they also have Crosby and Malkin locked in with term at center.
Alflives
Who in the heck is Jake “friggin” Gentzel? Is he like a hybrid of Hansel and Gretel?
rawkdrummer
Just buy a Lemiuex Rookie Card and keep cheering for Penguins. Miller is a leader and driver
Hairy Kneel
We've got Miller for this run. If everything works out we'll get some good playoff experience for our younger guys and add to our D for a better run next year. Hopefully with a resigned Miller.
