Okay, then we keep Horvat and miss the playoffs and watch Horvat walk....

Not sure where you get that from considering Jim Rutherford has been very clear that if JT or Bo were not signed by deadline they are getting traded.

Here's who might be traded:

-  Boeser  (Canucks might have to sweeten the deal with additional players)

-  Garland  (not performing as well this year as last, but a good acquisition for many teams)

-  Kuzmenko  (suddenly a very valuable property... on track for 30+ goal season)

-  Mikheyev  (not needed anymore... Kuzmenko could replace him if we keep Kuz)

-  Pearson  (still a valuable player, Canucks might need to eat some of his salary or sweeten the deal)

-  Any of the current D except Hughes and OEL could be thrown in as sweetening to the above players if a high end D is coming back to the Canucks

Agreed except how does the Kuz missile replace Mik?

Walk will never happen... the Canucks will sign Horvat and then trade him in the summer if the signing is too much for their CAP.

Other teams will offer something decent in return.

Looking ahead, our next game is against the Sharks. Then, the schedule gets a little tougher -- we then play the Wild, Flames, Jets, Blues, Kraken and Oilers.

Take a look at January, February's only a bit easier

The weakest teams are Detroit and Philly during February and Detroit is a plucky team that's been winning this season, Philly has the talent to dump you too

If they hold Horvat sitting 3 pts out, JR and Allvin along with the rest of the brain trust are dumber than I thought. I have faith they will trade players when the right deal comes along.

If they are in the playoffs spot before the trade deadline, you keep him, treat him as a rental at that point without evert giving up any asset.  They might do a Band-Aid route by adding some defender and that'll about it. If they are 3-5 points out of the playoffs spot, then I'd agree with you.   The management will wait until the trade deadline to see if they are actually in the playoffs spot first to appease the ownership.

Yes, that’s what JR is saying.  But will our owner allow a Bo trade at the 2023 TDL if we are fighting for a playoff spot like we were at the 2022 TDL?

Yup, it's going to be a big challenge in January. Should be interesting when Demko comes back and how they manage the workload.

Listening to Craig Button go from cocky to a little b*tch made my night.

Hahahahahahahahahaha suck it, Button!

Also we win this game handily if Stillman isn't in and we also win this game handily if Myers wasn't on the team. Two absolute trash ass defenseman that don't deserve to be in the NHL.

Our forwards had a phenomenal night. Boeser's best game (aside from the final 10 minutes he took off), Petey was a monster as usual and Kuzmenko can't be kept off the score sheet even on the 4th line. Our offense is fantastic but boy oh boy Bruce is really trying to sabotage the team with his defensive lineup.

what did button say?
