      Patrick looks like Getzlaf

      Vilardi looks like Spezza

      Hischier has drawn comparisons to Datsyuk 

       

      Of the three, I think Patrick will be the best, Vilardi second best and Hischier will be alright. Don't think he reaches Datsyuk-level production ever. 

       

      I want Patrick or Vilardi and if they're off the board by the time we pick(unlikely unless we have terrible luck) then we should pick Liljegren.

      @morrissex95 Patrick will probably bust and another d man would be a bad pick. If you are picking top 5 you expect an NHL ready player in 2 years or less not 3 years like most d men take.

       

      It 100% has to be an offensive center drafted that is a bigger need than offensive d man right now.

      Maybe we could trade Tanev to Buffalo for their first rounder and take Liljegren with that pick. Call me crazy. I think they'd go for it.
