Hedman
They cut Gauthier-Leduc? That guy has been ripping up the Q this year like no other, I thought he would have been a lock. I think people are getting to worked up about Pearson. He is 2 years older than most players going into the draft this year, it is very common for 19/20 year olds to perform spectacularly and achieve nothing further past juniors. He might make the team, but I think it would a smarter choice to pick somebody who can come back in following years.

I R Baboon
Don't real follow Junior hockey, but love watching the World Juniors, and I'm wondering if Oleksiak plays up to his size?
Sick Hands
little worried about canada's goaltending... Russia looks stacked, with Kuznetsov back and ofcourse Yakupov. What potential is Yakupov?? great player. elite player. generational talent? EX. Great player - Joe Thornton Elite player - Steven Stamkos Generational talent - Crosby/Ovechkin
JustJokinen!
it's all the usual suspects. Canada, USA, Russia (with nail), and sweden. they are always the favorites. Latvia and Denmark are the clear underdogs, and the rest just want to play upset and maybe squeak into a medal contention.

Hedman
I think you guys definitely have the best team on paper. Your goalies might be a questionmark since Visentins season in the juniors hasn't been that good this far. I think USA have a great defencecore, plus probably the best goalie in the tournament. I think they lack depth up front though. Russia will be interesting to watch. They have a few very talented players up front. Think they lack depth though as well. Same with Finland. They have a few very talented players like The Granlunds,Pulkkinen,Armia etc. But i think there are some questionmarks around their team. I think we (Sweden) have a deep team. We have 7 players from last year if im not mistaken. I feel very comfortable with our goalie-situation. 1 goalie that play as a starter in SEL,he also played a game against Finlands national team not so long ago. Another one that has done pretty good in his first season in the OHL, and another that has a couple of SEL games and who has played great in the Swedish u20 league. Our defence looks pretty good. But i think this team lacks a true gamebreaker. There are a few players that have potential to be one, but not one that has proved that he's one. Johan Larsson will be very important to this team.
