I hold nothing against the Flyers or Penguins. It annoys me when I hear Canucks fans hate on the Penguins. We don't need to covet other hockey teams, we've got one of the best teams in the league already in front of us.

This is the one everyone is looking forward too. There will be goals. There will be hits. There will be blood by the time this one is over. I'm almost worried that the winner of this series will be so beat up, they'll get swept in Round 2. my head tells me the pens and my heart tells me the flyers , i'm going with the flyers, in 7 if bryz keeps playing like he has for the last month and half .

Philadelphia has owned the Penguins by playing their stars hard and physically. Essentially the same as what Boston did to the Canucks last season, but Crosby and Malkin are fired up now so I think this series will go the distance.

Pittsburgh is just too deep offensively to be contained - even if Malkin and Crosby are somehow shutdown, they have plenty of firepower in their bottom-6 to get the job done against a Philadelphia team that's lacking offence on its bottom lines.

Goaltending will be a big issue as Bryzgalov is a bit of a wildcard - his play could determine the series. Either way, I say this series goes 7 games, Pittsburgh coming out on top. Their stars will take this one over.

I know everyone sees this series as a tough, grind-one-out sort of matchup. However, I think Pittsburgh takes this one decidedly. Their offence will be too much for the Flyers to handle (do the Flyers have a goalie?). Pittsburgh in 5.
