shiznak Posted June 12, 2012 Share Posted June 12, 2012 Partially, yeah. The fact of that matter is that when you get to the finals or even in other series leading up, teams are pretty even. When refs decide to give one team even a slight advantage it adds up. Just look at the 10 minute unsportsmanlike penalty call on Sedin after Marchand punched him repeatedly in the face. There was no question that the refs were helping out the Bruins in that series. I mean, we were really injured so it may not have made a difference, but we'll never know. Bettmen's licking his chops Oh well, didnt expect devils to win, since they've won a couple in the past decades. Interesting fact: NJ Devils are believed to be bankrupt, perhaps that explains why they are in the finals. Also LA isn't doing well financially as well. A big mistake, but he was trying to turn the momentum of the game - the Devils were already on their heels - if Scuderi goes shoulder to the boards and Bernier drills him, there'd be a whole lot of people wanting to sign him to come back to Vancouver again.
