:D
They pulled Ronaldinho's sponsership after he is seen drinking a pepsi. http://sports.yahoo....00613--sow.html Ronaldinho has landed himself in hot water again, this time with major sponsor Coca-Cola. The two-time FIFA World Player of the Year was caught on camera at a press conference nonchalantly sipping on a can of Pepsi. Coca-Cola was angered enough by his actions to have reportedly terminated an endorsement deal worth 500,000 euros with the ex-Barcelona and AC Milan attacker, whose return to his homeland has seen him become embroiled in constant controversy regarding his antics off the pitch. "The fact that Ronaldinho has appeared with a can of Pepsi was the straw that broke the camel's back," Coca-Cola marketing chief Marcelo Pontes lambasted to Brazilian publication O Estado de Sao Paulo. Now at new club Atletico Mineiro after his unhappy two-year stint with Flamengo came to an end last month, the 32-year-old has been unable to rejuvenate his career, amidst reports of him throwing wild parties rather than focusing on playing. Xbox
I remember when Pepsi fired Britney Spears for holding a can of sprite. My uncle also works for Pepsi and he slapped the can of Coke out of my hand. I These drink vendors are serious buisness
DarthNinja
I'd say it depends on whether or not Ronaldinho violated the terms of his endorsement by consuming a competitor's product...

Satan's Evil Twin
Pepsi should give him a deal and capitalize with advertisements. "Even those advertising Coke are secretly drinking Pepsi".
GLASSJAW
In his defense, many Brazilian players have weight issues. Could it be the partying lifestyle they're known for? Ronaldo, the best striker I've ever watched play, is regularly referred to as "Fat Ronaldo" Who knows.

î мцšт вяздк чфµ
he could drop the excess weight in less than a month. how soon we forget how OV looked last summer. anyways, if you look at the background of the wall in the conference pic, pepsi is one of that team's major sponsors. someone probably placed the cans there and it wasn't him, it happens. Kamero89
lol best thread title I have ever seen. Tiger woods once breached his Nike contract by wearing a different brand of shoes while playing. It cost him a lot. He was able to keep his sponsorship though.

I♥Wellwood
Sounds normal to me. When you're paid 750k for advertising, you better not be seen drinking their competitor's drink.
