Depression next Sunday night will be the one game the eagles show up all season. Vick will return, McCoy will return, they hate the cowboys and are tired of losing.
Devastation

No they won't. Bryce Brown and Nick Foles are both starting. It's unlikely Vick is back this year because they wanna get a good look at what Foles can do. McCoy is out. Jackson is done for the year.

I just hope the Eagles make it a competitive game.

Fantasy question. Is it worth holding onto McCoy and MJD and hoping they come back and play the last 3 games or should I drop them so I can pick up some guys who can help me right now.

So Drew Brees's touchdown streak ended tonight. Quite the remarkable record.

^^Do the falcons get more respect now? or will most people still expect them to be knocked out early?

I'm still not sold on the Falcons. Although I just go from what I hear as I haven't seen many Falcons games this year. Also not sold on the Ravens either.

I think this year more than any in recent memory, there is no clear-cut favorite. The Texans and Falcons both have the records, but fact that neither has won it all in the past, coupled with the manner in which they have won some games makes a lot of people doubt them.

Meanwhile, teams like the Pats, Giants, Ravens, Packers Broncos, Niners and even the Bears look dangerous despite having flaws of their own.

I still like Houston and Atlanta to be in the Super Bowl, but things are definitely wide open this year.

Orland Kurtenbach and Dennis Kearns had just been torched 8-1 by the Habs, but they still took time to come out to meet us, some fellow BC boys who were playing hockey in Montreal. THAT"S what being a Canuck is!

Harbaugh announced Kaepernick as the starter vs the Rams this week. Alex Smith taking it in stride though obviously and understandably a little frustrated.

Personally, I'm not crazy about this decision. All he did wrong was get hit in the head. He was coming off a week where he was the NFL's offensive POW, and looked good in the game he was knocked out of too. He's in year 2 of a career renaissance under Harbaugh, whose system he fits perfectly, and he's one of the NFL's most efficient and consistent passers. He's got chemistry with his receivers, and meshes well with the running backs that are central to the team's success. Kaepernick was good in relief (and played quite well vs the Bears), but he was hardly amazing versus the Saints lousy defence, throwing a pick and relying on two defensive touchdowns by the 49ers excellent D to win that game. Sure, Colin's flashier than Alex, but for a team built around running and defence with a timely and efficient air attack mixed in, I think Alex is the more sound choice in the long run, and all this move does is to sacrifice the long view for questionable short term gain.

Love Brees throwing 5 int's last night and 0 touchdowns for 2 reasons. First being that Brady's got a shot at yet another NFL record now.

second, in my high scoring fantasy league in which we have 11 starting offensive players, starting kicker and def, and 4 starting defensive players, the guy whos running it cheated by creating another team in the league and then after the draft he traded the good players from one team to the other so now he has a super stacked team and is 10-0. I'm playing him this week and he started Brees, Graham and Jones who all didn't meet point expectations. It'd be great to give the cheater his 1st loss.

Swap Byron Leftwich and Tom Brady's situations. Today Brady would be a UFA or on the Roughriders practice roster, Byron Leftwich would have 100 more wins than losses.

Sproles stepping outta bounds half a yard shy of the 1st down like a lil girl. Cost em a shot to tie the game in the 4th. Unbelievable.

Apparently he called coaches to meet him at their practice facility, then killed himself once they met. He was 25 one report says.

Hearing now that the woman had a 3 month old baby, not sure of its condition but the woman he killed was the baby's mother.

Terrible.

What a coward. Don't have any sympathy for him, yet (will do if its revealed he was suffering from mental problems), but feel incredibly bad for the girlfriend and the now parent-less child. There were pictures of them looking happy as a family on Thanksgiving. Not only could he have spared the life of the girlfriend, why would one need attention so bad that they'd purposly traumatize their head coach and GM by shooting themselves in front of them? Crazy. Hope the child has grandparents or other family that will raise him instead of be put in the foster care system.

Yeah a coward no doiubt.

Speaking of the KC Chiefs, the family that won the power ball from Dearborn Missouri said they picked the numbers of hall of fame KC Chiefs and surprisingly those were the numbers that were picked. How crazy is that.

Who would you start ?

CJ Spiller, his Bills are home today to the Jaguars, or Trent Richardson, his Browns are in Oakland.

I also started Foster and Martin, but need to fill in my W/R option in my NFL league.

Well it's monsoon type weather in Oakland, so don't expect lots of plays in the air. So TRich should get a lot of touches

Now that I see its crap weather I think I might take out Josh Gordon and put in Kenny Britt. Hopefully Britt sees the ball more with the new OC running things now. Also Joseph is out for the Texans.

Better be making the right decision here as this is pretty much a must win if I want to make the playoffs or not.

Not something they have to worry about considering deals with networks were struck long before, so the money is in the bank already regardless who meets
