-Vintage Canuck-
Does anyone know what's going on with Evan McEneny? The Canucks didn't sign him, neither did any other NHL team. Wonder if the Comets or another AHL team will sign him to an AHL deal.

Other that his unfortunate injuries, I thought he had some potential to be an NHL player at some point.

SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
Surprised McEneny hasn’t found a team yet. Maybe his agent was trying to avoid the AHL only deals, but needs to circle back now that nobody’s offered a two way contract. Also, did everyone else know that McEneny is from Grimsby, Ontario? Same hometown as Kevin Bieksa. How did I never notice that before!
CRAZY_4_NAZZY
Cory Hergott on Sportsnet 650 during training camp said that Evan McEneny sustained another knee injury late at the end of the season. Could be considering his future as that is his third knee injury (not sure if same one)

Yup, when Evan’s body was cooperating, he really had the look of a player with NHL potential. A lot of hits on my eye test, whenever I watched him play, and I really was rooting for him to make it. 2

I was at the Penticton Prospects tourny and he looked great. Nice size and playing strong position. He looked like a NHL'er. The odds are so against these young players who even make it as far as the AHL. I wish him luck. 1
