Can I go to any city and go on stand by?

I mean Abbotsford is always busy, but is Maple Ridge not as busy or something?

Yeah I believe you can go anywhere.
Started in PoCo and there was a massive wait, so then I went to Burnaby, and there was a big wait there too. So the next day I went into Maple Ridge and there was nobody there.
Somebody else I knew also had no wait when they went stand-by in Maple Ridge.

Thanks I will try that.

Is there a certain time you went around or do you go as early as possible?

I dunno, I went around noon on a weekday.
The earlier the better though.

If they messed up the address, but the ticket is on your license, it may be the case that the cop just entered the wrong licence number.

twice the authorities thought I was the "bad guy" but it didn't take more than a couple of minutes to prove I wasn't the one they wanted.

Shouldn't take long to straighten out a mistaken identity situation IMO.

The other guy probably knows your name from school.

I thought of that too, but I became suspicious when the address on ticket did not match my address.
Also, wouldn't there have been a bigger charge of Underage Drinking?

dunno about the fine situation but if you're underage you wont have proper ID and can probably get away with a realistic sounding name and a bogus address.

So what you are really saying is that you were embarassed because your parents did not know you got busted .

It's not as much as you would think.
It's like a $350 fine between underage and public intoxication. Granted this was several years ago,

Actually, no. What I'm saying is I actually did not do it.

I have literally never drank a single drop of alcohol, I also don't have a need to lie. If I had actually done it, I would have paid the fine.

When I was 20 some kid somehow got a BCID with my name and my parents address and his picture on it. I found out when my parents were called to fish me out of the drunk tank in Victoria at 4 am they were faced with the hung over kid who had passed out on someones lawn and when the cops hauled him off all he had for ID on him was the fake BCID.

That could have so easily been a ticket to the kid earlier in the night for consuming alcohol in public and Id be getting the fine in the mail later saying WTF?
