He is a good player and I know alot about him I'm actually a fan. its just that he has battled injury troubles and didn't really look that good last year with the Leafs, so it's tough to tell if he can be that player again. Toronto eats Lombardi's $500,000 signing bonus, plus some additional salary. Toronto gets a 4th for Lombardi. A 3rd if he re-signs in PHX. Leafs have talked about giving younger players a chance. I'm interested to know what amount of the cap hit is moved too. Could be a bit of a yard stick for evaluating new operating procedures and trade values for unwanted contracts.
