TheCammer
Luongo. I have a feeling he was scheduled for this back to back and Av generally sticks with his schedule. Edit: Just saw the post my reply came after..LOL

JasetheCanuck
the kid shoulda been given the nod. i don't mind Luu starting but an opportunity to bounce back for Schneids would have been great for his confidence
-AJ-
Give Schneider more of a chance I say. Start him again.
Master Mind
Glad to see Lu will be starting. Considering that sounds like it was the original plan. It wouldn't make sense for Lu to lose playing time because of others playing bad.
NuckNuckNucks
I love the " Coddling" going on here with the "Give Cory a chance." LOL. Better you get Luo to light a fire under his ass before it gets worst. This is not the time to be ginger with the ginger.
-DLC-
You know what IS cool?....that both goaltenders seem to be equally supported and that, despite the fact that people have labeled it a controversy, it actually highlights that. There are no clear favourites and both players are appreciated. Despite the fact that it is sort of strange to have two starters, it's a positive more than a negative if you handle it correctly. "We are all Canucks" The more someone feels they have to "compete" for a job, the less likely they'll become complacent about it. Let's drink from the half full glass of beer. King Heffy
Bad decisiion. Would be different if Luongo played well in relief, but he didn't. Entire team outside of the 3rd line, Volpatti, and Kassian played like garbage. How can Schnieder prove himself as a starter iif he's not given the opportunity to bounce back from a bad game? DownUndaCanuck
I really hope Luongo can pitch a perfect game and steal back the #1 spot but these young guns have been deadly all season long and are in mid-season form, so they'll probably tear him apart. Then Schneider will get the start against a pathetic Calgary team and look great. If Lu keeps the Oilers to 2 goals or less he deserves the Calgary start.
