sedated Posted February 18, 2013 Share Posted February 18, 2013 St. Louis is all about coaching. Hitch can make crap into a playoff team. Good coach and his guys work hard. Kind of like Nashville. Chicago was a team that tanked and got 1st rounders. Same with the Pens. San Jose is huge and they blow. LA just got hot at the right time. Boston is an awesome combination of strength, size, awesome defense and a decent goalie. There is no 'blueprint' because no team has shown multiple final appearances really. The parity in the league means you just have to get hot at the right time. Canucks got hot but then they met the injury bug. LA got SCORCHING just on time last year. They have two players over 6'2", Berglund and Backes, and only one of them uses their size effectively. And then there's Stewart.
