canucksnihilist
You all know the few players I'm talking about. does it drain energy from the team when someone is diving? or just when they get caught at doing it? I'd say yes, and yes even more so. Can't stand it. So LAME!!! It doesn't work anyways, they get a reputation for diving, and then the Refs treat the whole team differently. Here is something: Post how you think we can stop it. Signs in the stands at home: Stop Diving! Throw speedos on the ice when a diving penalty is called? (hilarious!) Angry Goose
I really hope the DET game wasn't indicative of the refs not favouring calls for the 'Nucks because of their reputation for 'theatrics'. Lappierre has played an honest game this year. I'd like to see others follow suit.

Ugli Fruit
The only person who has shown to dive and embellish to an unacceptable degree was... Kesler. I don't know what this guy's deal is but ever since the 10-11 season this guy thinks he's Ovechkin and Lidstrom put together but plays like the complete opposite. Definitely not liking his presence back in the lineup as of now.

Silfverberg Snipes
Of course CDC refutes your claim by posting videos of other players doing it. Because that makes it okay.

AppleJack
With the way the refs have been calling games Van is going to start to get diving penalties for when the other team dives............... but with that said looking at our own team..... I must say that I wish Kesler would stop diving as well and so far this season I think I have only seen it happen once (I could have missed it though) I really hope that he quits it all together, he is a amazing player and doesn't need to dive.. Common sense
Oh, so we're talking about Marc Savard, Jordan Tootoo, Scott Hartnell, or Brooks Laich. But I'm glad this thread is here as a clear solution for all the NHL players reading it.

gumshoe242
Actually, the refs are onto Kesler now, so even on legitimate calls they still nail him for diving. It's hard to complain though because it's his own doing. The Kesler who hits and scores is so much more valuable than the Kesler who whines and dives. CookieCrumbs
Kesler needs to cut this diving out ASAP. It's fu*king pathetic.
SevenDays
The problem with Kesler's diving is that... he's a terrible at it. It's very obvious and so over-the-top. If only he can act better, then maybe, just maybe, we can actually get power-plays out of it instead of penalties. Or he can just stop diving all together. CanuckleHorse
It would be awesome if a Canuck fan can make a video of other teams stars diving call it NHL's best divers.
Garrison
It's only really Kesler. He has not been a good addition to this club. Everyone else is diving and we get the penalty. Robidas diving against Burrows was just pathetic.
