Heretic
If you could bring one player back from Buffalo, who would it be: Ehrhoff or Hodgson? Seeing our weaknesses on D, I'd pick Ehrhoff over Hodgson in a heartbeat.
lolwut?
nobody said lose the rest of their games. nobody said all on the players. but we are on a 3 game losing streak (two of those being SOLs). we are not playing good hockey right now. but it is hardly cause to start calling for the coaches head. cup is not won at the halfway mark of season. Hock-E-Dad
in order to deal luongo their has to be a trading partner and at the beginning of the season nobody was going to trade for him same goes with the middle of the season he will be dealt in the off-season unless some gm panics which probably won't happen
Gman
Either the system is failing or the players are failing to follow the system because they've tuned out the coaches. Coaching needs to make changes or they need to be changed.
Erik Karlsson
I don't think people think about it clearly enough. People aren't just being negative about the team. It's the fact that this is the same team that, while possibly good enough to beat Boston if injuries were nicer, stayed exactly the same while other teams got better. Last year we didn't look like we could win the cup, and we bowed out in the first round. We did not look good in parts of the year. This year we have 8 regulation wins in 23 games. That is crap. Our defense looks terrible. Our offense isn't even good in the regular season, and we already know even when it's good it still sucks for the playoffs. Minnesota just has to get hot and if we keep playing like this we might actually miss the playoffs altogether. People are being negative because it doesn't seem like we've even got a shot at the cup with the current team. We want trades and coaching changes to try and shake things up. Our goalies aren't saving our ass right now, which they were to start the year. There is no reason to hold onto both of them, when we look like crap with both of them. We need to make a move, whichever gets the best return, be it Schneider, or Luongo. Our defense definitely needs a look, but that might be hard. With that being said.. that means we need to score more. So something has to happen. Either trades for a shakeup, or a new coaching staff to try something different. This PP, PK, and defensive system in general blows, and our offense is terrible again.
Steve Carell
I really wish we had a torts or quenneville to just light a fire under this team's arses.
Heretic
Yes based on what? ALL THOSE GREAT GAMES EDDIE HAS PLAYED IN THE NHL???? Stop with this stupidity, the kid hasn't even seen a shot from an NHL team and people are saying he's better than Schnieds. OMFG
cyacry
this team is very very far away from a champion team atm...compare now to the roster we had back in 2011....maybe we do miss Ehrhoff,Salo more then we thought...with Bieksa,Kesler,Ballard out, our team seems really disoriented....and Edler...simply CANNOT continue with these dumb giveaways that costs us games... DIBdaQUIB
I hope you guys who slam him every game realize how important Bieksa is to this team. He helps hold things together and provides some direction. There, that feels better.

bobopan
Well said - that's exactly as I feel. I believe Eddie is going to be better than Schneider and Luongo.
AriGold
Being completly honest, I changed the game and watched Bos vs TML because it was at least exciting. It was so boring, just terrible terrible hockey... Team lacks passion, lacks coaching ability, players have tuned him out.. Time for a change of some sort, a major shakeup is needed.. VAN_FAN_MATT
This is getting brutal. It dosn't get any worse than scoring 1 goal against and losing to a last place team like CBJ. Canucks have lost 5 of their last 6 games going 1-3-2 in that span. They have only 3 regulation wins in their previous 11 games, for a combined total of 9 regulalation wins all season long. WTF I agree with Valk, this team needs some kind of shake up.
sedated
Bieksa helps our defense but he's terrible defensively too. It doesn't say much that we miss a mediocre, casual defender. it just shows how little 'depth' the Canucks actually have on defense. One injury and we look grotesque defensively. And we don't look nearly as good as we did with Salo holding up Edler. Edler looks lost and honestly like crap without him holding his hand defensively. Flem
From what I see, I think you guys need a big, calm, smart, veteran, shutdown RH D you can put with Edler to help him out defensively a bit. Maybe a guy who won't take chances and let Edler take the chances.
Heretic
Wow...in 23 games we now have 64 goals for and 63 against!
