More faceoffs won usually leads to more puck possession and goals. Canucks buried another in that period and now lead 2 - 0.Shots: Canucks are still out shooting the Oilers by a total margin of 22 - 12. This could be the result from the 5 powerplays the Canucks have received in the first two periods.Confidence: Canucks are playing with a lot of confidence throughout the first two periods. They are clearly out playing the Oilers in every area and for once it actually shows on the score sheet. Derek Roy, Zack Kassian, & Chris Higgins: All three of these players have looked insane on the ice today. They have had some great chances and are due for a reward. Good luck to all three of them.Sedin Twins & Goaltending: The Sedins are pitching out effort goals and that is exactly what the Canucks need right now. Henrik has two points and Daniel has one point in the game. Schneider has been able to stop all 12 shots, but needs to continue the hard work in the third period.
