CanucksSayEh
Blues suck, we would smash them in 6 or less. Chicago..........yea I don't know about that, they just seem to bring out the worst in the Nucks.
Nuxfanabroad
Would MUCH rather StL stayed up in the #4/5 slot-be nice to see them pound away at LA, 1st round. Bad blood between them two. Would rather our boys start out against SJ, despite the three lousy games this yr. We've beaten SJ recently in the PO's, which psychologically can be a boost. They're older, with some injury-prone players, as well. Niemi is also uneven, at times. If Schneids plays to his standard, I DO think we'd take them out. Once you get beyond the first round, health, bounces & momentum can start to control outcomes...

-DLC-
In following up, I'd really like to play the Blackhawks. Just to keep 'em in their place.

logic
in one game absolutely! But I'd like to think that an intelligent hockey enthusiast can predict the winner of each series (before game one of each series) 80% of the time.
Dildo Faggins
If the Canucks have to face the Ducks, they will get a severe azz whipping.
73 Percent
For sure, but how many people predicted the kings to upset the Canucks?

bobopan
Chicago maybe..we've played them fairly well so far. St.Louis would be a nightmare of a 1st round matchup tho. That's a great defense they have and i know no one likes to bring it up but they are one hell of a physical team even if we did beat them im not sure how many healthy bodies we'd have left. To me the ideal matchups would be getting SJ in the first round and if we make it past them getting the Ducks in the 2nd. They've really been slumping lately. wai_lai416
While I agree that sometimes we do lack the killer instincts and let teams come back, I honestly believe we can beat any team if we put our minds to it.. and I'm not saying that because I'm a blind supporter and here is why: The following is our record against the possible playoff teams of the West: Chicago: 1-0-1 (1 more game coming up) Anaheim: 1-1-0 (1 more game coming up) LA: 2-0-1 San Jose: 0-2-1 St Louis: 1-0-1 (1 more game coming up) Minnesota: 2-2-0 Dallas: 1-1-0 (1 more game coming up) Detroit: 1-1-0 (1 more game coming up) so you see, other than against San Jose, we've been pretty evenly matched with these contending teams, and we've done so while having our forward group taped together.. we play 5 of our last 7 games against these teams and these games will be a better telling of how we might do against them in the playoffs

Navyblue
Just asking this question,,do you honestly think that the NUX will beat either STL or CHI? I would guess this week may go a long way to make peeps decide,,,but in all honesty..I cant see it. CHI is a tough team and if we get STL in the first round,,well...good luck is all I can say. I havent seen much killer instinct in our team this year and certainly no drive in crucial situations...you can flame me all you wish but it wont take away from the fact the NUX need to be totally on their game with all pistons firing or its an early exit. I hope Im wrong,,but the playoffs as they sit scare me with this team.

Dancin'Droid
In all honesty a think a series between either of these teams could go any way right now. If the canucks manage to muster the confidence that the 2011 team had in the reg. season then we are favourites. as of right now I think it is pretty even.
