Apple Juice Posted November 25, 2015 Share Posted November 25, 2015 I don't understand the move. At the beginning of the season, they had a three headed monster of Hiller, Ortio, and Ramo. They then decided Ramo needed more time and would run with Hiller as the starter and Ortio as the backup and they believed Ortio was the better goalie.. Now Ortio on waivers?? So waiving a terrible contract like Miller's is dumber than trying to offer sheet a player, and if that offer sheet went through it would require you to waive him after giving up the picks as compensation? Or is it pushing to trade a future top 5 center in the league for a garbage return?
