[Report] Rick Nash submits no-trade list to Rangers

Recommended Posts

Haha,

I remember whe Nashville was shopping him (for quite some time) - there was speculation that Gillis was looking to acquire Nash...

his answer to when we could imagine Nash in a Canucks uniform was............. "2018".

Of course, what he meant was that Nash's term ended in 2018, and he wasn't spending assets to bring him to Vancouver.

Good call MG.

You could be right.

I really have no respect for Canadian players that don't wana play for their home country though and chose dumpsters like NY to play. I know I call many cities in the US dumpsters... but NY is legit a dumpster passed 11pm... garbage on all the streets, rats, mice, it's absolutely filthy and disgusting how they manage their garbage disposal.

At 7.9 Million, he isn't welcome on the Canucks anyways. So I'd be more than happy if we're on his no trade list.

No kidding. What's the big deal with players wanting to play there. I saw a show on the rat problem there . Astonishing.

I can see Brad Marchand being comfortable there but that's about it

True. I'm actually starting to hate this city tbh... will forever stay loyal to my Canucks though. I'd %100 move out if all my friends and family weren't here and I wasn't raised here. God damn it's so frustrating living here.

Had to put my homer spin on it though. I would never chose NY over Van though. Maybe somewhere in Cali or Florida or Vegas...

You're welcome here in Calgary apollo. Alberta is rat free and we have a big canucks community out here.

I'm actually contemplating Calgary or Ottawa... so cold though :(

Calgary makes more sense since I do have a couple friends there... none super close though. Is it true that Calgary population is mostly female? Or was it the other way around?

I wish there was an easy way to immigrate to the US. I'd love to live in Vegas or somewhere in Florida.

I'm married so I really haven't looked into the ratios that much. I have heard Red deer has like a 7 to 1 ratio of women to men but I wouldn't recommend Red deer.

Personally I wouldn't want to live in the U.S I wouldn't want people thinking I'm American.

Nomb, but (will break my rules and offer unsolicited advice anyhow) -  don't go south apollo.  For a whole range of reasons.

Have you ever been to Florida?  I have.   Not a bad place to spend a week or two, but I'd never want to live there.

Some things make some of the states attractive - insane what you can get on the housing market in many places relative to Vancouver, but just stop listeninig to all the noise in Vancouver and you'll be fine.   You homer and homer on about how Van is the greatest city in the world - ad infinitum - these are really thoughts (of bolting) you should not share lol (jk).

But seriously, if you don't like the generally negative tone of Vancouver, keep providing that homer counterpoint - and support the alternaitves -  it takes all types apollo - these boards lose some flavour when you yield your homer ground haha.

I've never been to Florida tbh... just looked at real estate listings lol... Vegas seemed pretty livable when I went.... lots of entertainment and where the homes are, it's actually nice and quiet. Prices are incredible too...

All that homer stuff about Van being the greatest city is just me going over the top. That said though, if I had a NHLers salary and a family, I genuinely would %100 pick Vancouver to live in.

But I don't have an NHLers salary or kids to raise so I much rather live in something like this

233K USD Vegas (not to mention all the homes with pools u can buy for 300-500k)

http://www.highrises.com/las-vegas/listing/1920521-palms-place-a-resort-condo-s-high-rise-4381-flamingo-road-3503/

http://www.highrises.com/las-vegas/listing/1941308-palms-place-a-resort-condo-s-high-rise-4381-flamingo-road-27301/ 398K USD ... this in Van would cost well over 1.5million

versus this... with terrible traffic, bunch of racists and unhappy / unfriendly people or just plane rude immigrants.... racism in Vancouver is thanks to the government for making Vancouverites bitter and hating the fact that immigrants can come in freely, launder money, pay 0 taxes, clog up traffic and health care and raise housing costs all while claiming $0 incomes and having the locals working here pay their bills sinec they're taxed

Who is jock rocker? I googled him but not sure what the relevance was :S

Also, for what it's worth we immigrated here in 1998... I have plenty of white friends and immigrant friends... Always fairly paid our taxes and had jobs in Vancouver. I find myself busting ass and making decent money now... but for what? To pay 40% of it for taxes to pave roads so the money launderer's buying mansions and multiple condo's can continue to declare $0 income, get tax refunds, use our roads, healthcare, education.... same healthcare I have to wait 6 months to see a specialist for? God I hate the system.

Our hard working vancouverites are paying high rents and paying off some guys mortgage who doesn't even live here?

This is the reason why there's so much hate here for Chinese and Iranians... I have Chinese and Iranian friends... they are great people. You can't blame them for taking advantage of our idiot government.

I'm just explaining why Vancouver is a such a racist city. People are racist towards immigrants who come in and take advantage of our laws and loopholes. They shouldn't be racist though but that's the case. It's our government we should be mad at.

This city has been ruined. It's ok though, The Canucks are still the greatest sporting franchise on the planet.

Racism shouldn't exist. All cultures and races should be loved and hated on equally. Because there's great people and absolute trash people in every race.

Soooooo Rick Nash... eh? I'll give Hutton for Nash 50% retained, 2019 1st, 2018 1st, and DeAngelo
