Bergevin special. Trade a very good player for a lesser player who doesn’t really improve your team.

Not a terrible trade, but also not a trade I’d make.

Lacking centre? Sure, I will trade the only one I have for another damn winger.... I guess this supports the argument that he is taking Kotkaniemi / Veleno / Hayton at 3OA then to join the line next season.

Colorado is excited to welcome the draft class of 2018! We love the potential game breaking ability of our top 3 picks in Rasmus Dahlin, Dominik Book, and Jesse Ylonen. While we would have preferred a more balanced allocation of forwards to defenders, many teams (rightly) saw this draft as their chance to bolster their blueline which left talented forwards available, and our system is too bare to be picky making BPA the determining factor for our later picks.

Bokk(22)-Pekar(74)-Ylonen(34)

Kovalenko(76)-Stotts(79)-Budy(112)

Gogolev(134)-Weiss(126)-Davidsson(130)

Dahlin (1)-Regula(77)

Ragnarsson(95)

Annunnen(108)

Lindbom(119)

Tarasov(132)

Thats the Projected Habs Lineup for the Off-Season. There will be definitely some changes untill the Puck drops in October.

There are some Players with ????  ... Cody Franson for an example. Dont understand why the Hawks sended him to Minors  during the Season

even he was one of their better Defenders on their Roster IRL. David Desharnais  is rumoured  that he will join a KHL Team. Weegar , Claesson and Carey all need new NHL Contracts IRL. So there could be some work on the Defence Section.

We´ll try to add 2-3 Players in the Off- Season but also hope that some youngsters will crack the Roster out of the Camp.

Michael Rasmussen is supposed to become a Full Time NHLér next Season ... we hope that this will really happen.

So ...Free Agrency will be the next exciting step .  All the Best to all fellow GM´s .....regards Bomba .

We couldn't be happier with our draft class this year. If this group of young men pan out how we think they will, our rebuild is nearly complete. Detroit is pretty well known for their Swedes and we're glad to keep that tradition this year haha.

Detroit is looking to acquire a starting goaltender and some extra depth in our lineup so if you have any players you are looking to move send us a message. Also - we are willing to take on salary until the end of 2019/2020 so if you need a cap dump or want to throw us a sweetener in a three way deal to retain salary, let me know.

Alright guys! We're happy to announce the 2018 Arizona Coyotes draft class!

037 - Jared McIsaac, D

042 - Alexander Khovanov, C

069 - Aiden Dudas, C

085 - Carl Wassenius, C

101 - Ruslan Iskhakov, R

135 - Danila Zhuravlyov, D

146 - Juuso Ketola, D

155 - Einar Emanuelsson, R

We used the first three rounds to stock up on areas of need - after trading Erik Brannstrom, our only high profile defensive prospects were Cale Makar, Max Gildon, and Vili Saarijarvi. McIsaac helps that greatly with his steady (but not flashy) style of play. Our centers were next up to bat, as the Coyotes only had something like five or six centers left - compared to the rest of our prospect depth, it's not a lot. It was an area of need nonetheless, as we expect Matthew Highmore, Filip Chlapik, and Jake Evans to graduate either this season or next. Alexander Khovanov, Aiden Dudas, and Carl Wassenius are all centers who could turn into stars. Ruslan Iskhakov was too good to ignore, and will be able to develop as our wings thin out over the next few seasons. Danila Zhuravlyov and Juuso Ketola are two sleeper picks that I'll be following closely, and we're hoping Einar Emanuelsson turns into something resembling a Viktor Arvidsson story.

Thanks for a great draft, guys! :)

Columbus Blue Jackets - Draft Review

After burning through most of our picks and prospects to win now, attention was turned to trying to re-stock the pool. We wanted to keep our core together, so adding high picks wasn't going to happen, but we managed to amass a number of late picks and use them on what we felt are great value. Also, we were pretty D heavy (had 8 NHL D-men and 3 prospects knocking on the door), so trading Jacob Larsson and Dan Hamhuis for picks and focusing on forwards with our higher picks helped balance things (and, in the case of Hamhuis, cut a bit more cap).

The 2018 draft class:

#35 - Drake Batherson, F

#44 - Liam Foudy, F

#96 - Jan Drozg, F

#99 - Logan Hutsko, F

#106 - Oliver Okuliar, F

#122 - Simon Johansson, D

#123 - Drake Rymsha, F

#140 - Kirill Ustimenko, G

#141 - Jacob Stenqvist, D

#144 - Aarne Talvitie, F

#145 - Fedor Gordeev, D

#150 - Alex Steeves, F

#153 - Clayton Phillips, D

Vegas Golden Knights Draft Review:

#57 - Jack Rathbone (D) - 2016 draft selection by the Canucks, he went undrafted in Puck and I moved two 2018 4ths + 2019 3rd to move up to ensure I acquired him. He's off to Harvard to become the very best D in the NCAA. We're expecting him to become Stecher-esque.
