do you guys ever think about how the era of globalization (1991-2017) coincides with the golden age of pop music (1995-2016)?

That's suspiciously close to the era of Weezer (1992-present)

I propose we call this the weezer era then

Just now, otherwise said:

idk if that was a golden age of pop music.........................

it starts in 1995 with the advent of the Backstreet Boys, N*Sync, Destiny's Child and Britney Spears follow soon after. Then you have peak years like 2009-10 (nothing will ever be hyped up as much as Dynamite by Taio Cruz. not bernie sanders, not szechuan sauce. nothing). 2013 was a big peak as well, and it ends with 2016, which was one of the biggest years for music in the entire period - Kanye. Frank Ocean. Rihanna. Uzi. Post Malone. All pop titans. it's the era of Timbaland, too.

2016 is also roughly when rap took over and began dominating the pop scene.

2009 was indeed a peak year; Weezer released the instant classic album Raditude. Their collaboration with Lil Wayne "Can't Stop Partying" garnered universal acclaim and redefined rock, pop, and hip-hop.

The Town has spoken! MR has been found guilty of being the “root” of all evil.

Yes, I hate myself.

MR, you may have last words.

The SK could not or would not act.

The Mafia chose to kill Virtanen87 . Apparently the mafia finally understood that to win the game, you gotta get rid of the fricken MVP.

The Vigilante decided that nothing is more relaxing than playing some music. Unfortunately, Jazz is not on their playlist.

ok you missed the SPICE GIRLS and you could probably put Shania twain in there

but what i really meant was in personal taste there is very little pop that I liked from that time period.
