Jim's funny that way. Actually watching Cooper run 7 d this playoff made me think that would have been one way to keep Gudbranson here, if he was playing 10 minutes per night like Luke Schenn. Not for 4 mil tho. Edited September 16, 2020 by Robert Long

The Gudbranson ship has sailed. His style of play doesn't match the team's style of play. He is a much better fit for a team that plays the structure neutral zone trap. Gudbranson also doesn't seem like a guy who can handle the big Canadian market where there are a lot pressure and media attention. There is no secret why he is much better player when he was in Florida and now Anaheim.

I just thought it was interesting how Cooper uses a guy thats been seen as a liability defensively, but is an asset physically, in a 7 d system.

Not one of Stan's better plays. Edited September 16, 2020 by skolozsy2

What the #@$! does Gudbranson have to do with Gustafsson and the Flames for crying out loud? and btw your smarmyesque one-liner take on Gudbranson aint all that, either.
