  1. Our defence is so strong. If they don't have a good game we lose. Wow Glenn is garbage. Look around the field don't stare at one receiver come on that's simple.
  2. Yeah I think he'll make it. It's on NA ice and Virtanen is a body banger so he'll be used in that department plus he has game breaking speed. The Team Canada roster looks a bit dull with only a couple dynamic players (McDavid and Petan) so I expect him even on the 4th line for speed and hitting.

Milos needs to be overly aggressive, he would beat Federer in rallys at the baseline.

    Ben Hutton | #27 | D

Yeah when I'm watching him it's like he thinks that no one can beat him off the puck. Hutton will be a top 4 NHL defenceman I think he has a very good chance to become a 1st pairing #1 guy. He's good at everything.

Hutton reminds me of Ryan McDonagh so much. The skating, calmness, confidence to deke through players while getting out his own zone. He can skate like the best in the NHL, always in position. He's the definition of a safe, dynamic defenceman. Rarely will he make a mistake and he create offence, be a PP QB aswell. He hits too! He's a future #1 defenceman IMO.
  6. Horvat is such a strong, powerful skater. Even though he isn't Kopitar big he has the balance and power in his legs where it's like no one can knock him off his skates. Crosby like. That is his best asset and he's a pretty explosive skater who can accelerate like he came out of a cannon. Adding that with his hockey IQ, defensive game, vision can make him into a top 6 forward with right development.

Of course that's understandable she's only 20 years old. I'm just pointing it out that her nerves got to her early but she took the came over in the 2nd when it looked like she got rid of those nerves. That seemed to be the case when she took over the 2nd set.

At the beginning of the match she was missing some shots she should have made and kept letting Halep in the game.

Was a great even game. Bouchard took over the 2nd set, the finals are going to be good. Bouchard is going to be nervous though.
  10. After we sign Virtanen, McCann, Demko, we'll have 43 contracts used up with 7 remaining. I hope we can use those free contract spots for some young free agents like Gillis always did. Lack and Tanev come to mind as successes.

Federer will be able to return serves so it'll be a big challenge for Raonic.

Raonic is doing alright against Kyrgios. 1 set each. Kyrgios is having a very hard time against Raonic's serve.
  14. He played through the injury the whole season and it didn't bother him at all. I don't think it is as major as some are making it out to be, he got the surgery so he can heal over the summer and be ready for next season.
  15. McBain, Conacher, Del Zotto, Byron some young UFAs. Byron is surprising, 21 points in 47 games.

  16. Brad Richards, Radim Vrbata, Matt Niskanen, Mikhal Grabovski, Mike Ribeiro are the top UFAs still out there.

Bonino had 1 good year getting gifted a lot of PP points. Incredibly overrated and I would prefer to see him moved.

Bonino is a tweener. Vrbata is the only one I want out of those (due to the price of Niskanen).

You say hat heff, but all e analyst say he's a gamer and very under-rated. Going out on a limb but I trust benning.

  17. That's true but McDavid is in this years draft. Getting McDavid at the draft brings a huge fanbase, of course they don't lose on purpose but they aren't going to trade their prospects and picks for NHL players just because they want to get as best as they can on the NHL roster. They have a plan of rebuilding a team, Buffalo is in that process and I don't think you'll see them try to attack the top UFAs because they have a plan of 'tanking or rebuilding' their team. They don't want to suck but when they do and get 1-2 top 5 players then they realize they have to take this path to build a star team.
  18. If it's more than 2 years and about 5.5 million plus, we're screwed. And most likely it might be.
  19. Kelcey Brade ‏@ctv_kelcey #Canucks believe they're the front-runners in pursuit of Ryan Miller. I've been told it is "very likely" he signs w/ VAN tmrw. @ctvvancouver Dammit.
  20. No. You roll with your starting goalie and when someone else is ready to take over then you trade him. Not sign a UFA then trade your young backup. You go with your young NHL ready goaltender, play him and then when another goalie is ready to take over you can either place him as a backup if he doesn't have value or trade him. Demko won't be in the NHL for atleast another 5 years, 2-3 years in the NCAA and then another 1-2 years in the AHL then another year in the NHL.
  21. Cam Ward isn't very expensive. That's true but Ward>Miller for me because of the contract. Who knows, Ward is a reclamation project sometimes they work sometimes they don't.
  22. Hope_Smoke ‏@Hope_Smoke 1m Ferraro "if you're going to sign R.Miller for 3 years $16 why not approach Cam Ward because contract is less and shorter?" This. I like Ward more than Miller.
  23. Lack is ready to take the starting role IMO. He looked solid whenever I watched him.
