Edler is our Ekman-Larsson. Great d-man that played for a bad team for a long time. I think Luongo, Edler, and the Sedins were the best players on the team for way too long.

Your speculation is as good as mine when it comes to Virt, it's all predictions until we see him in the playoffs. Horvat had 4 points in 6 games as a rookie in the playoffs. He's looked good so far.

Horvat, Beagle, Roussel, Virtanen(just wait until playoffs for this kid, and I know its a prediction) Gudbranson (was great for Florida in the Play-Offs) Edler has been a beast in the playoffs for us before and seems to be having a great year. He's on pace for over 40. We have unknowns like Pettersson etc... I bet Quinn joins in for the playoffs.

I remember a lot hockey pundits telling Canuck fans to sleep on Motte, and that he's a lot better of a player than we thought. They were right.

6 of those players were past their prime, one didn't want to play here anymore, another 1 hated the coach for good reasons, and another got replaced by Lack and rightfully requested a trade.

Green of course did not have Anze Kopitar, Drew Doughty, Ilya Kovalchuk, Jonathan Quick, etc.... LA is hard under performing

Like Phil Kessel, Big hits aren’t really in the style of his game. Players who have a lot of hits in their game play on the boards a lot more. Brock plays a lot in the open parts of the ice, he’s not ever trying to be near someone, rather be the open guy.

I think Goldy is THE most under appreciated player on this team. He's not perfect, but he's young and he's already putting up decent numbers in the NHL, He's quiet, yea, but he also quietly puts up points and maintains a solid +/- for a 23 year old winger on a rebuilding team.

Pettersson - 10M Boeser - 7.5M Horvat 5.5M Juolevi 4.5M Hughes - 6M Demko - 4M Gaudette - 3M Virtanen - 4.25M Goldobin - 4.25M Tryamkin - 3.5M Di Pietro - 2M That's only 55.25M on a probable 85ishM cap. Depending on the other talent, they look fine for whats likely to be NHL bound or is already there.

I think Virtanen and Goldy are neck and neck in depth. It's like what Goldobin gets questioned on Virt is praised for and what Goldy is praised for, Virt gets questioned on. Where one is weak, the other excels.
