I think Gillis would surprise a lot of people with his know how on how to build a championship team. His lesson is probably learned... But can he draft? Because he was terrible here in that regard. At what point does Gaudette, a guy whos an RFA for possibly a whole other contract, not be a core part of the team. Why isn't he going to be a core piece? A young centre who's earned a full time roll at such a young age isn't something you trade. You trade for it.
