Self care day ideas?
I'm thinking ice skating, enjoying the beach or the forest, baking, or taking a day trip to Spokane or Juneau.
Any ideas?

After 3 hours of sitting around doing nothing except listing to music and drinking coffee and with the cat next to me. I think it's time to be productive! It's almost 2pm you know.

Outside with a hoodie on and still cold. This has to be close to record low for this date with the breeze.

At what point do people stop listening to Sekeres? Bruce calls out his BS: "they make stuff up."

Got Covid from a concert last Saturday. Wednesday through to this afternoon were brutal but I think the fever broke. Now it feels like a normal cold.

What exactly did you hate about Green?
He gets a ton of hate but I didn’t see anything that was so bad to think he was a bad coach. With Willie D his insistence to play guys like Megan and Chaput on the top line was one instance of how an average fan could see he was bad. But with Green I can’t really come up with anything beside maybe him not calling enough timeouts when the game was getting away from them?
-
I didn't, I thought he was great coach. Everyone talks about the success the bubble run had from a player's perspective but what about the tremendous job Green did during that run. He's a coach that'll shine in the playoffs, his fundamental belief that everyone has to buy in is the correct one and he'll have an excellent NHL coaching career despite what most here want to believe.

I'm preparing myself for some on CDC to make Fire <New Coach> threads next season.
-
Pretty much because a) a new coach won't address the underlying issues and b) people are seriously underestimate Green's ability to be a NHL coach. The fire Green posts that are nonstop are one thing but calling him the worst coach or an AHL coach is just idiotic slander. What can you do? It'll just be a larger scale of what happened to Newell Brown, idiot fans think he's to blame and he goes and coaches another team to a top 10 PP while our PP struggles.

Quinn Hughes 12 points and +6
Jacob Chychrun 1 point and - 20
And to think some Canuck fans wanted to trade our Mighty Quinn for the (not so great) Jakob.
-
Funny how when a team plays poorly, it's the coaches fault, but when a team plays well - it's the players.
-
I'll never understand how someone can overlook the GM and blame the coach when the roster is just so poorly constructed even including the two gems they drafted(whether you consider them lucky or not). You're not making the playoffs with that D core even if Hamomic was playing, no way. 4 games in and Hughes misses a game you really get to see how thin that blue line is. But blaming the coach is just the easiest thing to do.

You know when you go to the grocery store, make a list, pick up what's on the list - champagne, dessert, salads, cheese, tortilla wraps, guacamole, as well as the disinfectant wipes that are on sale for $0.94 and the 27 oz of liquid hand soap on sale for $1.25. You get home and realize that you forgot an item! Like, oh boy, I forgot the big bag of the bite size chocolate!
