      I loved/love Bertuzzi. Having said that we already have better options for his role on the team. Short of mentoring kassian on the 3rd line he has no use here.

    ok now the negative side of me is done... i think miller will be fine here.. benning will still make trades and make a splash... at least we didn't overpay for anyone..miller is worth the money they signed him for..

      Miller isn't going to score any goals. With Kesler gone our leading scorer last year was Higgins with 17 goals...

    too long... keep it 2-3. unless they structure it for 2-3 mill cap hit saving some money.... but if its like 5mill 5-6 years.. hell no...

    development stage means you need mentors to teach and models for guys to learn from... at least we get that... edmonton just has youth and no experience teaching them which is why they struggle... we need a vet goalie....

    i am excited to get miller... miller was so good on crappy teams for a long time.... had to suffer in buffalo for eternity.... he can return to form to the guy that drafted him then awesome... that would be great to get him... so i keep telling my self keep positive....

    Eddie would be happy.. too much pressure to soon. hell he probably told management he wasn't ready ... torts forced him in to that situation because he didn't like luongo....

    every one happy canadas" day tomorrow... it will be a fun time with the canucs.. my prediction we will sign miller.... for at least 5mill for 2years...then we grab another d man and a big time player so we can keep selling tickets... just saying.. and i think some big trade will happen....

    its good to know that they take a serious run at him... lol the wild are sure to be in the mix and i am confident he will stay in boston forcing us to take on some bruins players like boychuk and marchand....

    first draft week... so much excitement... couldn't sleep i had 3 hours and had to work grave yard shift... and now free agency. woot! knowing your team will be involved is what makes it excititng!

    just because he has had 1 major surgery doesn't mean squat...he is young and he will heal. benning knows what he is doing do you... this isn't nhl 14 video game. canucks already got better then what they where a year ago. i can't stand people being so negative about a player with out even giving him a chance....obviously benning and linden see something you don't! lets be more positive about it! go canucks go.....

    wanted to say something to messier that thinks benning will be fired next year... i saw his quote on this topic sorry if its a little confusing... virtanen is a great pick... he is young and will heal... ugg... mark my words everyone... believe in these guys... this team will be better this year...not time to plan the cup parade but let things develop and see what i mean!

    canucks have gotten better in my mind finally purging bad blood and depositing some positive people. lets start with boino.... a play maker who uses lines mates unlike kesler... a d man in isbister who can punish peolple with a physical style... dorsett who is a fourth line player with big time offensive upside, linden vey that is well know by our new coach and will be the next pearson or tofoli for us....the future is bright .... two years from now we will have our own chara and guys like bo...

      You mean Luca Sbisa. There are other VAN connected players on the ANA Ducks...Bryan Allen (Canucks) & Mark Fistric (VAN Giants). Perhaps this is a reason Kes chose to go to there. Trending winners, less hate, & some former bro's.

    ok rant time... believe it or not the canucks need scoring and iggy is a benning player.. we also in mind got better when we did trade kesler... boino will instantly help.. linden vey will be impresive as well as dorsett... a fourth liner with offensive upside. isbister we finally have someone with a physical edge to him and knock guys down that are coming at him 1 on 1... i don't get why people can't see the direction of where benning has already taken this team. mark my word we will make the playoffs and be a contender! in bennin and linden i believe...

    i don't think benning wants to trade kesler. i think he believes he can keep him by signing a free agent winger to play with him.
