If JB turned down Seabrook then he will walk away from Myers.

The one thing that rumours like this may do though is that all of a sudden, if you were thinking Myers at 6M a year was too much, then hearing that there "may" be some teams willing to offer him 8M a year may all of a sudden convince you that maybe 6M is actually reasonable value. My fear here now is that either this rumour was started by Myers' agent or by the Canucks to convince the fan base that we are actually going to be getting good value for what was really only a top-4 D-man in the Jets system.
