    I would be very disappointed if JR and Allvin do nothing, other than get a meager return for Motte and Halak. Teams are overpaying right now, time to take advantage

    I'm not sure the Bruins are done, I believe they're still interested in Garland. If they trade DeBrusk in this deal, then they'll want to replace (upgrade) his position. I wouldn't mind a possible trade of Garland to BOS for (C) Trent Frederic, (LD/RD) Urho Vaakanainen and (RW) Fabian Lysell

    So, I guess ANA knows that playoffs are doubtful (like the Canucks), and they're actually doing things to improve their future. What a concept.

    Miller is going to want the moola and the term - and that's if he even wants to re-sign in VAN. I've heard he would prefer to play in the US, but whatever which is better? A) $9 x 6 or more years $10-11 x 5 years C) trade him for the future

    I wonder what the mindset of the managers will be if they lose tonight. Does Demko start again tomorrow or do they put Halak in the last game before the TDL? Demko is going to be burnt out. Playoffs?

    To do a deal with LA, they need help with their cap. Division rival, make them pay Garland (50% - you're welcome LA) (RD) Brandt Clarke and (C) Alex Turcotte

    LA needs to clear cap, how can they afford to take on Garland and only give up prospects?

    If trading Garland brings in a stud RD like Brock Faber or Helge Grans +, then they're on the right track IMO. Canucks need better, younger D. I like Garland, he's like the underdog. His game is very physical for a small player, Canucks have been lucky he hasn't been injured long term yet.

    The waiting is the hardest part, as Tom would say. I'm so impatient, I want things to happen right now, and then continue to happen all the way until Monday! But alas, JR and Allvin have incredible patience and they are taking their time, analyzing the market and waiting to strike with the best trades possible, maybe at the last minute. I hope they do something. They can't rely on Arshdeep to save the day down the road.

    He was pretty awful when he was sulking under Coach Green. He's a lot happier now, and he knows a big payday is coming.

    Canucks will probably beat the Flames (there's hope!) and then lose to the Sabres the next day (sell all of the players!)

    Kings have a lot of good prospects/young players, so I hope Allvin takes advantage of that Vilardi Kaliyev Byfield Kupari Durzi Turcotte Clarke Grans Geez, they could be a playoff team AND have this prospect pool. They're rich with prospects, time to Robinhood the Kings.

    Hearing LA is very interested in Garland, and it's possible Turcotte+ is part of the deal

    Yes, and what about BOS and WAS? Tampa and Florida are loading up, so do these teams get desperate (overpay) to keep pace?

    Garland to NYR for Lundkvist and Kravtsov? Rangers will need to add if they want to compete with FLA, TB and maybe COL if they get really lucky. They won't miss these prospects.

    Canucks can only afford to lose 6 more games in regulation if they want to make the playoffs. I count them as losing 9. Sell sell sell!!!
