    Have any of you ever moved to a new city/state or province/country not for a job or anything but just because? I'm thinking about it...

      there are many parks and covered sidewalk areas

      all you need is a good tent

      or even a tarp it seems :bigblush:

      then you can live rent free

      Change of scenery is always a good thing, if it comes to living, new job or even meeting new friends.  

       

      Don't be afraid of expensive cities because chances are that you'll be able to make more money in those cities as well.  If you were to come to Vancouver, your job prospects would be pretty stellar.  

       

      What cities are you considering or do you just mainly want to get out of the one that you're in right now?

      I have been looking at Vegas (I actually really liked the suburbs just outside the city when I was there) or San Jose. San Jo is only ~2h from where I'm at now, so not a huge jump. My biggest fear with that region is the price.
