Exactly. We could have over $35 million in cap space after Boeser and Edler are signed so there’s really no reason to not go after him. 

It would go a long way to landing someone like an Anders Lee or other top 6. It might price Panarin out of the picture but thats probably asking for too much anyway 

Look he's a good player, but I think his best years are behind him and there might be some 'me' issues with him.  And isn't that always the case with this franchise?  Always overpaying for players past their prime and I am sick of it.  So for the first couple of seasons it might work but what about the remaining 6?  Don't forget the inevitable lockout as well, I don't want to risk it, that's why I am strongly against Panarin, Subban, EK or any 'big ticket' item.  Luckily for you guys JB will be desperate to retain his job and he'll likely go after all those players, sadly.
