      Extremely bad timing to have $10MM in dead cap space - Eriksson - $6MM / Luongo - $3MM / Spooner - $1MM.

       

      Imagine what that could have gotten the Canucks this off season.  2 top six wingers and a deep 4 line team.

      I don't think we're going to see a big contract (if at all) for Goldy. With guys headed to Utica and Rousel's LTIR I think there might just be enough room at 2.5 but it would be very very tight. But I like the idea of Jake stepping up for that RW spot too. We'll see.
