And it's incredible how they have been such over the top homers and cheerleaders since they began broadcasting NHL games.  The worst in the NHL -- no professionalism whatsoever. Only Denis Potvin when he did Panthers broadcasts was at a similar level.

Yes, but I think that the dream Canucks fan should focus most of their mental energy on for the future is the day when Bedard becomes a UFA and can finally sign with us!  As far as I'm concerned, this is a  more realistic and achieveable goal for us than winning the Stanley Cup, at least until he gets here.

This could be our one and only chance to get that young RHD we so desparately need in our system.  I don't know if we can deal a big piece like Miller and not require that in the package.

Nothing to be gained with rushing Rathbone at all.  He and the Canucks can only benefit from having him get as much time as possible to develop his game in the A.  Hunt is basically providing everything that Rathbone could bring at #3 LHD right now, and probably doing it better that Rathbone could (at least for the time being).

That's exactly when I found out about this game too.  Why was is not better advertised that they would be playing on TSN??

I used to do that all the time.  But since i can't do that anymore, I've actually found that if I tune into the TDL coverage over the lunch hour, that's when most of the trades come in anyway.  The 8-10 am PST time slot can be really painful to watch!

If we can just lose those two and not lose Miller, Horvat or Garland, I will be ecstatic!
