This is the way it's down around here, short term gratification for long term pain. People want to buy OEL out just for the savings next season, then they figure we'll just worry about the penalty later. Well we aren't going anywhere next year so why put all of our focus into it and then suffer the same fate we are now the following year trying to fit Petey, and Hronek' s new money under the cap. We never seem to learn lol.

He's a good depth guy but he struggles against good players and doesn't think the game very fast. I like him as a number 7 or 8 but not sure he is a starter on a good team. However it may be the best we can do with out cap. Like the guy though definitely willing to re-sign him and give him some more leash.

Yeah I get it. You can teach guys with high IQ and get on the same page. Not always the same with skill. Sometimes all the skill in the world is wasted because they still don't play the game the right way. A guy playing a role can be more effective than a more skilled guy doing his own thing out there. I think this is what's going on with Kuzmenko. He's tremendously skilled but Tocchet is trying to instill the kind of game that matters and wins when it counts.

How about Hansen, he seems tuned in. Burrows would be awesome but he's busy. Ray Ferraro might be a candidate. Many don't like him but I find him alright... kind of.

Seems to working out for everyone involved. The amount of people taking digs at Bo and the amount of points he is getting and such is staggering and extremely jilted. I'm sure the Islanders are just happy he's contributing to winning. He seems to be playing the same game he always did. Since when did Canucks fans care so much about how the Islanders are doing?
