  1. I’m gonna buy it ASAP! What’s your all time fav? Mines the old Macallan Sienna. Just something about it was special to me.
  2. Did you try the 2001 or 2002? 2002 I found simple. 2001 had a more complex finish in my opinion.
  3. There is risk in every deal. Schneider for Horvat for instance.
  4. With the strong play of Beniers, Seattle CAN move Wright. Its a but unnerving for them to move on from a highly touted guy that dropped in the draft, then trade him so soon. He's gotta have some saltiness in his personality or something. I'm ok with that, I'd say Petey has a bit of that himself. As do a lot of highly competitive players. Getting Wright for Bo i'd do 1 for 1. It gives the Canucks some cap flexibility. Likely improves the lottery odds, and gives the Canucks fans a clear signal that they are going to rebuild. Landing Wright and if the Hockey Gods take pity on the downtrodden, getting Bedard is a very clear path to building something fantastic. Getting a mid level 1st and some 2nds this draft is imperative to hopefully get a shot at a D man like Strbak.
  5. Gotta keep Schenner. Once Bo goes, he should be C with Petey and Hughes getting A's.
  6. Here are 2 of mine. The distillers is the best single malt I’ve ever had.
  7. Flyers could have avoided all of this by saying he had the “Scoots” during warmup.
  8. Due to his religious beliefs. I don’t see that as being a problem. I wouldn’t expect anyone to wear something that directly conflicts with their own persecutions.
  9. The more I watch lately, the more I suspect that Bo is checked out. Hasn’t stood up for teammates. Never seems to agitate other teams stars. Just another day at the office for him. I miss the guy that fought Nurse.
  10. Yes. It’s a straight up tire fire. This management by committee approach is laughable.
  11. Agreed, That Nashville 1st COULD be a lottery pick if they run into injury troubles. Bo would thrive in Nashville. Solid fit for both clubs.
  12. With Kuz I’d negotiate a FA offer while he’s under team control. Then package him with Horvat/Miller/Boeser to get a bigger haul. He and his agent will know the Canucks offer before July 1 and either leverage it to get more out of another team, or sign back with the Canucks. little risk to the team and player, but weakens another teams cap a hair. Force an overpayment.
  13. I believe if they signal a true rebuild by trading some assets and "going for Bedard" the fans will get behind it and show up for the young guys, even if they continue to lose. Even if they don't get lucky at the lottery and land Bedard, the fans will appreciate the honest assessment of the team and will root for the team. I know i would be more invested if they just went along with a full rebuild around Petey, Hughes and Demko.
  14. That was an excellent read. I see a future issue with defensive D as well. It is really exciting to see the offensive D pinch and make a play, but that Slovak game showed how important big, strong, defensive minded players are vital to win. My sons play Football and one thing I really appreciate about it is that there is a position for every body type. My 2nd son is short and stalky, strong legs and thick shoulders. He plays centre. His buddy is 3 inches taller, around the same weight but lanky and fast, he is a receiver. Both contribute equally to the team. I worry about hockey and what it has evolved into in this Country. I doubt Phil Kessel would even make it to Jr these days because of his build and "look."
  15. I like it. It’s high risk and exciting. Like a goalie charging out against a breakaway. im waiting for the glass to get extended and make a bubble. Really speed things up.
  16. I’ve got the same black dog. Never turn your back on them. I did in 2019.
  17. Oh man, I hope they don’t trade Hughes. He and Petey are the untouchables.
  18. Agreed! I know he was hated by the rest of the league, but as the famous saying goes: "they hate us because they anus."
  19. Great point! Also seems to be the taller players take a bit extra time. At 18/19/20 they are still getting used to their height and the weight needs to catch up. Plus they've spent their whole hockey careers being the "big guy" and when you get to the NHL you're just another "big guy." Some of your old tricks won't work anymore when you're not the biggest and strongest. The little guys have to use speed and deception even in Junior to make it.
