Got me to Mayne Island and back in one piece. I'd like to see Ferries built in BC at least though. 

That fast ferries debacle is as retarded as the gun registry, except the ferries one was our provincial debt and the registry was shared by the nation.

The design of the fast ferries was flawed, not the concept. Just like the Space Shuttle in the US. it was a good idea, but they never had enough funding to build the system as it should have been. And they wanted it to do too much. 

I'm meh with the registry. I don't see how long term it makes things "safer" Since most of the crime is committed by folks who steal, or smuggle guns anyways. Rarely do folks who have licences get involve with gun crime. I really didn't see much difference when I bought firearms before and after the registry. Other than now I can get a lever gun. buy a trigger lock and drive it home. I still have to wait for a handgun.
